Complimentary Alcoholic Beverages at Hotels and All-Inclusive Hotel Packages

Liquor Bulletin

This bulletin is to advise hotel licensees of important amendments to the Liquor Licensee Handbook.

Effective immediately, all hotel licensees may offer complimentary alcoholic beverages and all-inclusive packages that include liquor to their overnight guests.

Policies regarding the safe service of liquor will apply, including ProServe training requirements.

The amended policies are located in Sections 4.4, 5.2 and 7.2 of the Liquor Licensee Handbook and may be accessed on AGLC’s website at aglc.ca.

Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies and ensure affected staff are notified of these changes.
