This bulletin is to advise all cannabis licensees of an amendment to the Retail Cannabis Store Handbook (RCSH).

Effective immediately, Section 3.4.6 of the RCSH has been deleted. The requirement that signs may not contain terms such as “chronic,” “stoned” or “high” is no longer in effect. The Cannabis Act does not prohibit a licensee from using these terms in its signage.

The amended policy may be accessed on AGLC’s website at aglc.ca.

Please familiarize yourself with the amended policy and ensure staff are notified of this change.
